NEW YORK: Andrea Morgan, executive director and head of the consumer marketing practice in New York for Golin, has left the agency.

Golin representatives confirmed that Morgan left the firm to pursue other opportunities. The agency declined to offer further details on her departure or on who will replace Morgan in the interim or long term.

Morgan, who joined the Interpublic Group agency in June 2013, was not immediately available for comment.

Prior to Golin, Morgan served as MD at Emanate  for about a year, leading the consumer practice and business development. Before that, she worked at Zeno Group as MD of the New York office for nearly three years.

Morgan also previously served as EVP and MD at Euro RSCG Worldwide from November 2006 to September 2009, and she spent 11 years in Edelman’s consumer brand practice.

Earlier this week, PRWeek reported that Golin plans to acquire Beijing-based PR firm Magic Group next year.

Last week, Golin appointed Architect US MD Keith Martin as MD of its San Francisco office, reporting to US president Gary Rudnick.

Golin international president Matt Neale was recently tasked with the additional responsibility of co-leading the New York office alongside Rudnick and MD Tony Telloni.

Last month the firm also tapped 20-year Edelman veteran Neal Flieger to serve as MD of the firm's Washington, DC, Richmond, and Baltimore offices.
