New arrivals at The Academy boost staff numbers to 15

Digital account director Natalie Trye and publicist Michael Hickson are among four hires at Mitchell Kaye and Daniel Glover's recently launched agency The Academy.

Trye has joined from Think Jam, which has just helped launch current box office release Gone Girl, and where she was also a digital account director.

Another Think Jam staffer, publicity manager Hattie Adam-Smith, has joined The Academy as a community relations manager.

Hickson arrives after  five years at Beige London, where he was a senior account manager, and a summer spent working as a publicity manager on Big Brother.

Kaye has also hired a former senior account manager from his previous agency, Mischief. Neil Broderick joined as an account director earlier in the summer after a spell as a freelance account director at Cohn & Wolfe.
