Wilson takes on the new role of consumer practice chairman, working with MD Will Powell.
Read has been promoted to chairman of corporate and brand as well as Wired, the agency's digital team. In his new role, he will maintain the integration of cross-group services and work with James Thomlinson and Claire Southeard, joint MDs of Wired, on digital and social media services in all areas of the group.
Read’s position as managing director will be filled by Hugh Taggart, who was previously a partner in the corporate and brand practice.
In addition, Emily Luscombe is promoted from her position as a partner to the new role of deputy MD of the practice.
Bell Pottinger has also recruited Kate Wallace in the new role of head of people development. Wallace previously worked at Brunswick for ten years, before starting her own consultancy company.
