NEW YORK: Horn Group has launched digital marketing service Red Dot, which is aimed at supporting emerging companies and startups.
Red Dot, which launched on Thursday, will help with branding and positioning; web building, strategy, and design; social media and community management; and data visualizations such as infographics. It is geared toward companies headed for an IPO, startups trying to raise capital, and brands that want to break into new markets.
Horn creative director Eric Kim will lead Red Dot and oversee four staffers in the firm’s New York office, with support from freelancers.
"In the world of communications, it is not just about siloed efforts. It is not just about PR or social or creative," Kim said. "It is about how it can all come together for a holistic communications approach."
Horn has typically focused on companies in the tech sector, but Red Dot will be available to brands in any industry that need digital marketing services, CEO Sabrina Horn explained.
"We have been getting more and more requests for interactive, visual storytelling," she said. "The market is beginning to understand that PR is evolving to digital communications and the need for the visual aspect of it. We want to make it easier for emerging growth companies to buy those services and not just be a laundry list of things that you buy, but a packaged offering."
Red Dot is named after the symbol at the end of Horn’s logo.
