SAN FRANCISCO: Golin has named Architect US MD Keith Martin as managing director of its San Francisco office.
Martin will report to Golin US president Gary Rudnick. His role will include "defining new opportunities and agency growth" and combining the Golin and Architect teams "as a single market digital offering."
Architect, an Interpublic Group agency acquired by Golin in 2012, will continue to be a "specialist digital strategy, design, and development brand" with its team built by Martin. Teams from Architect and Golin will collaborate on new client work, he said, noting that Architect staffers have worked with other Golin offices, in particular Dallas, on accounts such as Cisco, PetSmart, and Texas Instruments.
Martin noted that PR is no longer "just about telling a story," but helping to drive business for clients, adding that he wants to make Golin in San Francisco a "powerhouse as an agency."
He previously worked at BBH and Albion and has collaborated with clients such as Cisco, PetSmart, Telefonica, Unilever, and the University of California at Berkeley.
