NEW YORK: NASCAR has promoted VP and CCO Brett Jewkes to SVP and CCO.
He has worked for the auto-racing organization since 2011.
Jewkes will continue to report to CMO Steve Phelps with the same responsibilities as before the promotion. He handles NASCAR’s integrated marketing communications department and oversees the brand’s relationship with the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
In 2012, Jewkes became a member of NASCAR’s multi-discipline senior leadership team, as well as a member of its executive council.
Prior to NASCAR, Jewkes worked at Taylor for 13 years, where NASCAR is a client. Before that, he worked at Coltrin & Associates and held a communications role on the media relations team of the athletic department of Southern Utah University.
