Formula E appoints Red Robot as news distribution partner

Red Robot, the marketing partner for news content distributed on Reuters, has been named news distribution partner for the world's first fully electric racing championship.

Red Robot is distributing press releases and video news releases about Formula E directly to more than 1,700 media outlets in 117 countries.

Running until June 2015, the championship takes place in ten cities – including London, Beijing and Miami.

All video content is watermarked with a unique ID, allowing Red Robot to report global uptake of content and on-air usage within news organisations.

Tim Godfrey, head of media at Formula E, said: "Our partnership with Red Robot positions Formula E at the very forefront of news distribution and guarantees exposure on a global scale via the Reuters news network.
