Weber Shandwick merges with sister agency McCann PR in South Africa

Marketing services holding company Interpublic has merged McCann PR in South Africa into the country's Weber Shandwick office.

The combination has been rebranded Weber Shandwick South Africa and will be led by the head of McCann PR, Linda Weaver.

The Weber Shandwick team will move into the McCann Worldgroup offices in Johannesburg and the combination will have a staff of 15 and clients including African Union, Unicef, Ericsson, GSK, Eaton, Amazon, GSMA, Isuzu Trucks, and Brand South Africa.
