Snack Media produces Europcar-branded live blogs on Arsenal games

Snack Media is managing a campaign by Europcar to provide live blogs on match days to amplify the car rental company's partnership with Arsenal Football Club.

Snack Media has been appointed to oversee Europcar’s latest initiative of live blogging before, during and after match games with content captured directly from the Emirates Stadium and competitions to win Europcar Prestige car hire.
The first of these interactive sessions took place at Saturday’s north London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, with fans getting involved through and the blog.
According to Snack Media the content reached 4.5 million accounts across social media and Arsenal fans spent more than 600,000 minutes on Europcar-branded content on the blogging networks.
Ken McCall, MD of Europcar UK Group, said: "The live blogs planned for a number of key matches through the season mean we can increase the opportunities to see [OTS] for our brand in a highly interactive and relevant way for football fans."
Europcar was unveiled as Arsenal's official car and van rental partner in August.

Niall Coen, MD of Snack Media, added: "Our aim was to tap into the high level of ‘second-screening’ that we know goes on for all kinds of sports events, especially football, enhancing the OTS for the Europcar brand beyond the stadium presence.
"Our content development team and social media editors were creating branded content in real time, providing a platform for Arsenal fans to enjoy and comment on."
The next live blog is planned for 18 October when Arsenal play Hull City.
