MILWAUKEE, WI: Johnson Controls has named Grady Crosby VP of public affairs, chief diversity officer, and a corporate officer, effective October 1.
Crosby will develop and implement government relations strategies and lead the company's sustainability and community involvement initiatives in an effort to build partnerships, according to a press release. He will also serve as president of the Johnson Controls Foundation. Crosby will succeed Charles Harvey, who is retiring, in the role.
Most recently, Crosby was VP and global general counsel for the company's Power Solutions business. Before joining Johnson Controls, he was associate general counsel for Hanesbrands, general counsel and secretary at National Textiles, and staff attorney at Sara Lee.
