FTI Consulting brought in for Aldermore bank float

FTI Consulting has been called in to handle financial PR for British bank Aldermore, which has announced its intention to float on the London Stock Exchange.

It is understood that the agency has been working with the bank since earlier this year.

The bank, which was founded in 2009, specialises in lending to SMEs and home owners. It has 160,000 customers and around 800 employees.

Aldermore recorded a before-tax profit of £18.6m for the first six months of 2014.

The FTI team is being led by Paul Marriott and Neil Doyle, both senior managing directors at the firm, who were unavailable for comment.  

FTI’s clients include Dish Network, World Fuel Services and Ace Hardware.
