Scott Kronick, 52, is President & CEO of Ogilvy Public Relations, Asia Pacific. He assumed this role in January 2014.
Kronick is a 26-year veteran of Ogilvy Public Relations, beginning his career in New York in 1987 before transferring to Ogilvy PR Taiwan in 1991. In 1995 Kronick moved to Beijing where he has resided for the past 19 years. He is credited with founding Ogilvy PR's China operations in Beijing and Shanghai in 1995 and in Guangzhou in 1996. Today Ogilvy PR China is among the leading offices for the Ogilvy PR Network gobally.
Kronick works with many of the world's most respected brands on their Asia Pacific pursuits, and he has counselled many Asian CEOs on building their brands throughout the world. In 2008 in Beijing under Kronick's leadership, the firm set up an Olympic consultancy and handled the marketing of more ten companies during the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
Kronick is the recent author The Lighter Side of China, a book of short stories detailing life as an expatriate in China.
