Sharif D. Rangnekar, 46, is the director and CEO of Integral PR - one of India's leading communication and business advisory firms. He has been with Integral PR since 2003, first as a director and later in 2004 as its CEO.
Recognised as the '2013 PR Professional of the Year' at the India PR & Corporate Communications Awards 2013 and nominated as the PR Agency Head of the Year for PR WEEK Awards Asia 2014, Sharif has been the co-chair of the SABRE Awards India (and later South Asia) and worked as a jury member at other industry platforms. He is currently the President of PRCAI and a board member of ICCO (the world's largest body of communication consultancies). He has also spent two terms on the international board of PROI looking after the Asia Pacific region.
With over 20 years of experience in journalism, research and publishing, Sharif has edited the widely appreciated and bestselling book 'Realising Brand India'. He continues to write and comment on the PR industry, public policy, socio-cultural issues and the economy. Sharif holds a Bachelors Degree in Arts (English) from University of Delhi, India.
