Luisa Megale, 42 is the vice president public affairs and communications of American Express across Asia and the Pacific region, a role she has held since 2008 following the departure of John Clarke. As well as leading a team across 11 markets from India to New Zealand, Megale has successfully led the lobbying efforts and stakeholder campaign for the major payments reform in Australia over the past 12 years.
She was formerly the director, corporate communications for Lucent Technologies where she embraced the challenge of making hard core technical information both easy to understand and interesting. Luisa lives in Sydney and has completed post-graduate studies in sociology at the University of York, UK.
