The new additions will work closely with the agency’s other teams across a number of sectors, including b2b technology, sport and fashion retail brands, to integrate social media throughout the business.
Van Tilburgh spent almost ten years at Microsoft subsidiary Lionhead Studios, where he was responsible for global community, social media and video content campaigns.

He has also worked at advertising agency Wunderman and more recently as chief discovery officer at mobile tech start-up 22cans.
Schwartz began his career in New York working for 360i as a social publicist.
Van Tilburgh said: "I'm a big believer in data-driven insights combined with the idea that brands, whether consumer or business-facing, need to talk in a human voice to remain relevant. There is no magic bullet when it comes to social media and every client has their own needs, goals and expectations. To solve those you need to understand your audience first before offering an approach or a solution; that's how we do social at Threepipe."
Eddie May, co-founder of Threepipe, added: "Sam brings creativity, energy and enthusiasm alongside significant experience working with a number of exciting brands and agencies. Justin has also brought some fantastic social and analytical skills to the team, and his experience gained in the US has helped to elevate our own thinking around social media."
