The agency, which won the account following a three-way pitch, has been tasked with positioning Proto-col as a pioneer in collagen technology.

AD Publicity has launched a PR campaign entitled ‘The New Face of Collagen’ with a proactive outreach to beauty press, to raise awareness of the brand.

Alice Dogruyol, founder and director of AD Publicity, said: "It is great that brands are once again seeing the value of PR.

"The past two years have seen AD Publicity grow from a one-woman, one-client band to a five-strong team of highly experienced PR professionals and seven clients.

"With two new associate directors, Louisa Durrant and Lucy Heather, account manager Meghan Settle and Aacoune Executive Nicola Shepherd, we are fast becoming the biggest little PR agency in London."

James Greenwell, managing director and owner of Proto-col, said: "We decided to move from in-house PR to working with a PR agency because of the vast range of experience and wealth of contacts in the health and beauty field that AD Publicity offered."
