Bridgett, who started earlier this month, took over from Laurence Jones, who will stay with the consultancy as its new head of property and infrastructure.
Bridgett will lead the agency’s international expansion: Dragon currently has offices in Africa and Latin America and is looking to build on its international clients.
Prior to Dragon, Bridgett was head of corporate affairs at Lend Lease EMEA and before this headed up external affairs at Barratt Developments.
He started his career as a journalist, working for The Evening Standard, Mail on Sunday and the Sunday Mirror.
Bridgett said: "In its first three years, Dragon Associates has established a reputation among its clients for communicating strategically, holistically and adding measurable value to the bottom line. The opportunity to lead the team as it embarks on its next stage of growth was too exciting to turn down."
Charlie Methven, executive chairman of Dragon, said: "Dan brings experience of high profile, international corporates and is perfectly positioned to help us capitalise on a series of new business wins over the past six months."
