Damon Jones, 39 is the communications director for Procter & Gamble (P&G) Asia. He assumed leadership for the CPG giant's regional communications portfolio in 2012 after a successful stint as the Global Communications Director for P&G's Male Grooming business where he led award-winning PR and social media efforts for global brands including Gillette and Old Spice.
Prior to his current role based in Singapore, Jones held posts in the US, Geneva and London covering Brand and Corporate Communications, Government Relations and Issue & Crisis Management across his nearly 18 year career with P&G.
During a 2008 sabbatical, Jones served as Director of Press Relations for the Democratic National Convention as part of Barack Obama's first presidential campaign - leading external communications strategy, convention messaging, scenario planning, and crisis preparation. Attended by more than 15,000 media, the Convention is regarded as one of the most successful in history. The American holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Xavier University.

This includes a portfolio of 23 brands that generate more than $1B in annual sales, nearly all of them holding the number one or two positions in their category. Entering Asia in 1935, Procter & Gamble has expanded its presence to 36 nations, with on-the-ground operations in 14 countries of them, employing nearly 19,000 people.
