Raza Khan, 41, is a seasoned public relations professional with over 15 years of experience in diverse sectors. An expert in Corporate Reputation Management and Crisis Communication, he has navigated through some challenging assignments for leading corporates in India. He started his career in public relations with India's leading PR consultancy firm, Perfect Relations. Khan became the Branch Director overlooking the firm's operations in North India (Delhi, Chandigarh and J&K), handling the PR mandate for leading Indian and global companies including EADS, Coca-Cola, GAIL, Amex, Idea, Hindustan Motors, Pizza Hut, Rasna to name a few. It also included various Goverment sector accounts including the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), and the state government of Himachal Pradesh.
Later at Genesis-Burnson Marsteller, Raza was a Partner in the Consumer and Entertainment division, handling clients such as GSK Consumer Healthcare, BBC, NDDB, Mother Dairy, History Channel and NGC.
He moved to the corporate sector with India's leading business group - Bharti, handling the communication for all the group companies including Bharti Airtel, Bharti Retail, FieldFresh, Beetel and Bharti Foundation, the philanthropy arm. He had a brief stint as the Head of Corporate Communications with another leading telecom infrastructure company, Viom Networks (earlier Tata-Quippo), before returning to Bharti.
Khan graduated as a chemical engineer from the National Institute of Technology, Raipur and holds a PG Diploma in communications from the Delhi School of Communication.
