Cameron started in the new position last week, and will take responsibility for Launch’s brand offer, with clients including BP, Zurich and glh Hotels.
The creation of a new role overseeing brand PR follows a year of growth for the agency, with account wins including eBay.
Cameron will sit on the board and report to agency founder Johnny Pitt, who said she had "an interesting blend of entrepreneurial and big agency experience".
She has led Union Street since 2012, having previously been head of consumer at Octopus Communications, and has also worked at Publicis and GCI.
