Luxury cruise liner Celebrity Cruises has appointed DeVries SLAM to raise its reputation and consumer profile within the UK.

The agency, which won the account through a non-competitive pitch, has been tasked with creating a series of campaigns for the brand focusing on its destinations, food and drinks as well as beauty and wellness offerings.

DeVries SLAM, whose New York office has worked with the brand in the US, will work alongside its retained travel and leisure agency Siren Communications.

Toby Shaw, director of marketing & PR at Celebrity Cruises, said: "We were looking for an agency that can build on our positioning as a credible alternative to a premium land-based holiday, and work alongside our existing team.

"DeVries SLAM has already delivered a number of creative campaigns and we look forward to extending this partnership into 2015."
