A trio of figures have joined Captive Minds' board including former Merrill Lynch EMEA chairman Bob Wigley, City investor and Tesco family scion James Gallon and entrepreneur Dominic McVey.

The content agency, home to a 12-strong PR team, has also snapped up fashion and lifestyle agency Unsigned Group, which will continue to trade under its present name and whose founder Gavin Myall will join Captive Minds' board.

All of Unsigned’s 10 staff are expected to move in to a new London office with the Capitve Minds team later this year, with no redundancies expected.

Additionally, Captive Minds has set up an advisory board chaired by events promoter Harvey Goldsmith, with non-executive directors including First Data SVP for global comms Joshua King and explorer Inge Solheim.
