KL Communications appoints Ben Robinson to lead in-house consultancy work

KL Communications has recruited Ben Robinson as a partner, responsible for consultancy services to in-house teams at financial services and real estate firms at the agency.

Robinson, who started last week, joins from his role as head of communications at Ignis Asset Management, a fund manager that was recently bought by Standard Life Investments.

Robinson commented he had made the decision to leave Ignis prior to its purchase and the timing of his departure is coincidental.

Jamie Legg, a founding partner at KL Communications, said: "Ben is a great addition to the team. His proven expertise in communications, combined with his knowledge of investment markets and understanding of in-house operations, further strengthens the unique proposition KL offers its clients."

Robinson’s appointment follows the hiring of John Kelly, the former head of UK corporate communications at Franklin Templeton, as a partner in May.
