Independent Public Relations network GO Communications has formed a partnership with SKPR Asia thus making a debut in Indonesia. With this announcement GO can claim to be officially represented in 10 markets in Asia. This includes Indonesia, China, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, India and Sri Lanka.

SKPR Asia was the first Indonesian PR consultancy from East Java to open an office in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta in 2010. SKPR Asia has clients in real estate, banking, FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), consumer and retail industries.

SKPR Asia CEO Syandra Kwan said, "The partnership with the GO Group will give us extensive knowledge of the Asian business environment and potential to grow our business in Indonesia. We now have the opportunity to tap into the GO Group's client base, expertise and creativity". In addition, Malaysian companies are starting to establish offices in Jakarta and tourists from Malaysia are one of the highest from Asian countries".

GO Communications CEO Michael de Kretser said the partnership with SKPR Asia was part of its self-styled "blueprint" strategy. "We select our partners in each country that have the same DNA, leadership qualities with the same vision and synergy and understand the peculiar dynamics of each country," he explained. "Each country retains its own culture, independence, proven methods of operating but are part of the GO Group network. The blueprint strategy (of the GO Group) is a shared knowledge, expertise, creativity and new client introductions".

Indonesia is a critical partner for GO. It has the largest economy in South East Asia and is a member of the G-20 major economies.
