Transform Cosmetic Surgery’s PR manager Shami Thomas made the appointment following pitches from an undisclosed number of agencies.

The work is moving from JAMpr, which succeeded Brazen 12 months ago but did not repitch.

Label PR will manage Transform’s press office, case study production, news generation and blogger relations, as well as support its social media strategy.

The company has 6,896 fans on Facebook and 1,315 followers on Twitter.

Earlier this year, figures published by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons showed the number of cosmetic procedures carried out in the UK had risen 17 per cent to 50,112 during 2013.

Thomas said Transform approached Label PR because of its "exceptional health and beauty experience".

Label’s team will be led by agency MD Lee Bloor.
