Described by colleagues as "the epitome of poise," Liz Lee is a true leader in the digital field. As GM of Edelman’s New York digital team, she oversees a group of more than 100 experts who are breaking new ground in digital and social marketing.
"Liz oversees the largest office in the Edelman digital practice and has built a diverse team made up of experts from PR, digital, advertising, and media buying," says Kevin King, global practice chair, Edelman Digital. Over the course of her 10 years at Edelman, Lee has rapidly shot up through the ranks helping transform the firm’s digital business. Under her leadership, the New York digital team has increased its revenue 150% and doubled in size during the past two years. The team has also won important new business for the firm, including Heineken USA, eBay Global, Pfizer, Samsung TV, Samsung Mobile, and Energizer.
Lee’s vision and determination have also contributed to the global practice’s 30% growth rate. She has played a critical role in enhancing the firm’s community management capabilities and social media analytics, forging important relationships with digital innovators and marketing partners such as Facebook, Google, and YouTube.
Lee has also been a driving force in integrating real-time marketing into all PR work. As the firm’s first conversation research analyst, she has positioned Edelman as a pioneer in this area, overseeing research, analytics, and insights development for several Microsoft products and various consumer and healthcare clients.
