Seven things for PR pros to know Monday morning

Huntsworth CEO Lord Chadlington said Monday morning that he is stepping down from the top job at the UK-based holding company. The politically connected Chadlington’s decision was announced after the umbrella group reported disappointing first-half revenues and he faced shareholder pressure over his pay package. Huntsworth owns and operates agencies Grayling, the Red Consultancy, Huntsworth Health, and Citigate Dewe Rogerson.

BuzzFeed has raised $50 million from Silicon Valley venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, bringing its total valuation to about $850 million. The round of funding will go towards potential acquisitions, developing an in-house technology incubator, and launching content sections.
