Who better to handle your media relations than Brad Ferris, an award-winning journalis who knows the media inside out? Ferris entered the world of PR from a successful career as a broadcast reporter and he is leaving an equally indelible mark on the communications industry.

In his current role, Ferris is responsible for developing the department from the ground up and has exceeded all goals management set him. Key achievements include helping Clorox Healthcare, the part of the company dedicated to reducing the spread of infections in health settings, grow from nothing to become the number two market leader in the infection-control industry.

Thanks to Ferris’ sterling efforts to showcase the division and build its reputation through research, product launches, and trade shows, Clorox Healthcare has now become the fastest-growing business within the company. Ferris joined Clorox armed with a decade of experience, including senior media relations roles at some of the world’s leading PR agencies. He has worked with a broad range of clients, such as the US Department of Health. His agency stints have included Carmichael Lynch Spong, where he was a media relations specialist; Ketchum, where he served as VP of the firm’s global media network; and MSLGroup, where he was  senior media relations manager.

Before that, he developed his media expertise as a broadcast reporter and anchor for NBC and Fox affiliates in the Washington, DC, area. He was also a wire correspondent for AP Television News, where he covered the White House and State Department.
