MSLGroup enters New Zealand

The affiliation agreement with Auckland-based boutique firm One Plus One Communications extends MSLGroup's presence in Asia Pacific

The partnership makes One Plus One Communicatons the 13th affiliate that MSLGROUP has in Asia Pacific. The agency was founded by industry veteran, Kelly Bennett and styles itself as a "creative, corporate communications consultancy". Through a combination of media relations, content creation and high-profile events in both New Zealand and Australia, One Plus One Group helped its client GN ReSound launch ReSound LiNX MFI, the world's first made for iPhone hearing aid recently. To help drive sales through earned media the firm secured a partnership with Mike Chunn (former member of the Kiwi band Split Enz) and musician Todd Hunter who has been recognized in the Australian music Hall of Fame to help drive sales.

One Plus One’s client roster ranges from start-ups and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) to some of New Zealand’s better known bigger companies in sectors spanning financial, technology, construction and professional services.  This includes firms like Freeview and Macquarie Private Wealth. Its offerings include reputation management, integrated communications planning, management counsel, B2B, crisis management, employee communication, brand management, product launches, media training and content creation.

According to Charlotta Lagerdahl Gandolfo, Regional Business Director, Asia, MSLGroup her firm and One Plus One Communications share the "same philosophies and employ the same approach" to delivering work.  "We look forward to becoming an integral part of the MSLGROUP," said Bennett.
