Significant redevelopment projects in the Royal Docks area include a £1.5bn innovation quarter at Silvertown Quays, plans to create the UK’s largest floating village at Royal Victoria Dock and a £1bn Asian Business Port development in London’s Royal Albert Dock.

The Royal Docks Management Authority (RoDMA) has awarded the agency a retainer following a competitive pitch.

The agency will be responsible for press campaigns, developing event opportunities and promoting the area to the film industry.

Bullet PR specialises in arts and culture projects, but said that the partnership was not an indication of a new direction. Pandora George, director of Bullet PR said: "It is not only about communications but also projecting the history and heritage of the docks – to establish a destination for visitors and tourism and build a sense of place."

Brooke Alexander, sales and marketing manager at RoDMA, said Bullet PR would "lead the place-making agenda for the area". The award is on a year-by-year basis although George said Bullet was working on projects up to 18 months away.
