The five-year sponsorship deal is the first of its kind for CFG and will give Nissan a strong brand presence at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium and rights packages in the territories of each of CFG’s network of football clubs.
CFG owns Manchester City FC, New York City FC and Melbourne City FC. It also announced an agreement with Nissan in May that saw it take a minority stake in the Nissan-owned football team Yokohama F·Marinos.
