Farrah Cox is always ahead of the curve. While analytics is a scary concept for some, she is at the forefront of this brave new world and a whiz at turning insights into action across paid, owned, earned, and shared media.

At the helm of Golin’s global digital content marketing strategy, Cox created a process to help target the right person on the right channel at the right time via the agency’s Bridge. Through this process, the firm curates more than 65,000 pieces of content each year for global brands.

Cox has established strong digital listening and analytics programs for clients such as Cisco Systems, including piloting the first real-time marketing scheme for the brand, which led to record-breaking engagement. Meanwhile, she has revolutionized Golin’s approach to digital marketing by developing a training program for account leaders to ensure they make the most of the company’s digital capabilities to help clients build stronger brands on an international scale.

On top of that, Cox successfully piloted global real-time social media in eight countries simultaneously at Golin, working with digital community managers around the world to implement and launch the service.

In addition, she has pioneered the firm’s nimble thought-leadership program to help ensure clients get their key messages across at the optimal moment.

This approach sees digital content teams use digital listening to identify opportunities to insert client thought leaders into key conversations. They quickly draft a recommended point of view for a client and within four hours ensure a strong thought leadership blog is out there, along with a social sharing graphic, making people sit up and listen.

• For the last six years, Cox has served on Parent Teacher Association boards covering the McKinney and Frisco Independent School Districts in Texas

• She served on the Special Technology Committee for McKinney ISD to pull together recommendations for future sustained growth.

• Cox is a preschool Sunday school teacher for 3-year-olds and volunteers at the Grace Bridge Food Bank

• She is team manager for her son’s soccer team and is addicted to CrossFit
