The beautifully elfin Sophie Ellis-Bextor gave a rousing version of Parton's Jolene to the assembled group of EE staff, journalists, clients and general hangers-on who'd had their fill of the madness in the hallowed turf outside.
Stealing the show, however, was EE's director of PR Mat Sears, who had curated the star-studded Saturday brunch session. Sears took to the stage to thank the caterers etc, and his new best mate, Ellis-Bextor. Flack was busy admiring the jaunty angle with which Sears sported his 'Glasto trilby' when it suddenly clocked his unusual choice of footwear for the gig. Surely those couldn't be a pair of socks from the 2009 Hacks v Flacks footie match? I know it's only rock'n'roll but...
