Her consultancy, also called Pavla Kopecna, will help promote the Taught Not Trafficked campaign ahead of the UK premiere of Sold, the story of a child trafficking survivor in Nepal, at the London Indian Film Festival in July.

The project brief includes promoting the launch of the campaign, which involved the charity’s Nepal team collaborating with director Tshering Lama, and spreading word of the campaign more broadly.

UK and English-speaking media will be involved in a Childreach International report on the issue, and the agency will aim to raise awareness of the stories of those affected by trafficking.

Kopecna, who launched the agency after more than three-and-a-half years at Ladbury PR, told PRWeek that she hoped to build a network of freelancers, with a focus on arts, culture, technology and science.

She said: "It’s an exciting time to be starting a new business offering within PR and communications, as the industry matures and we are seeing more demand for holistic approaches combining cross-platform communications, social media and partner engagement.

"I’m pleased to be able to hit the ground running with a campaign as important and far reaching as Taught Not Trafficked, to raise awareness of the issues behind child trafficking and help work towards a solution."
