Pegasus: ‘Don’t Go Cold Turkey’ anti-smoking campaign for Pfizer
Pegasus: ‘Don’t Go Cold Turkey’ anti-smoking campaign for Pfizer

Healthcare specialist Pegasus is one of the best performers from outside London, with a 24 per cent rise in fee income.

The agency won a slew of new accounts, including a much-coveted place on the GSK global roster. It secured additional work with Pfizer and Boehringer Ingelheim, and new accounts with the British Skin Foundation and Keyline Brands’ personal care products Cuticura and Soft &  Gentle. Pegasus also now runs pharma company CSL Behring’s UK comms.

Pegasus won 79 per cent of the pitches in which it participated and profit margin was a healthy 23 per cent.

Some of its key campaigns included launching the GSK-owned toothpaste Sensodyne Complete Protection and Pfizer’s ‘Don’t Go Cold Turkey’ campaign to help smokers quit.

Pegasus takes care of its staff, offering them financial packages benchmarked against the best in the industry. Last year, it moved its Worthing offices along the south coast to Brighton. The agency was ranked 22nd in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For list.

Pegasus’ best hires were Rob Stone, from Rapp, who leads digital services, and Holly Ford from Hill+Knowlton Strategies, as an account director working on food and nutrition.

This year, MD Lisa Bradley plans to keep investing in the integrated model, specifically boosting the agency’s digital and social capabilities. She also expects to win more global
business with its network of independent partner agencies.

Pegasus is a well-run agency and shows that a London postcode is not a prerequisite for success.
