PRWeek has completed the full integration of its online content offering across the globe under the www.prweek.com web address.
The new PRWeek global website facilitates increased cooperation between the UK, US, and Asia teams and goes live in time for the inaugural PRWeek Global Congress & Awards in Barcelona on May 15-16.
All existing PRWeek US, UK, and Asia users now simply need to type www.prweek.com to be served the version of the site local to them - users from outside those regions can choose which view they want. Whichever PRWeek view on the world they select will feature their chosen region through a global lens, without losing each area’s local flavor.
Users in any part of the world will also be able to switch between the different regional views should they wish to do so. The new integrated structure will enable PRWeek to optimize its global reach of more than 20 journalists covering PR and communications across the globe.
The websites of all three PRWeek regions – US, UK, and Asia – had already incorporated a new logo, contemporary look and feel, and responsive design that enables content to be scaled automatically across mobile, tablet, and minimized desktop platforms.
PRWeek UK debuted the new online look last October to coincide with its transition to a monthly print edition. PRWeek US launched its refreshed website in March. PRWeek Asia relaunched in April, with Amit Jain joining the brand as editor working out of parent company Haymarket Media’s Singapore office.
We will continue to cover our local markets in the depth to which you have become accustomed, but communications is now a genuinely global business and the new global website takes PRWeek’s content offer to an even higher level in terms of giving you the tools you need to help you do your jobs better.
As I said when our US site relaunched in March, this is just the start. Our newly integrated global offering and the increased cooperation between our teams from around the world will evolve quickly in the coming months to provide you with an even better PRWeek user experience.
As always, let us know what you think of the new global website and how you would like us to evolve our offer over the next year.
