NEW YORK: Chandler Chicco Companies has formed a strategic alliance with Newlink Group.
Newlink is an integrated communications firm serving Hispanic and multicultural clients in the US and Latin America. The goal of the partnership is to expand the capabilities of both agencies in multicultural health communications.
Chandler Chicco president Lisa Stockman said the alliance is "a good first step," noting that the two firms have collaborated on projects in recent years, but did not say if the agreement is a move towards a merger or acquisition.
"We’re going to start here and see how things go," she said.
Newlink will have a representative in Chandler Chicco’s New York office, and a staffer from Chandler Chicco may eventually work from Newlink’s Miami headquarters, though no such plan is in place yet, said Stockman.
She added that Newlink "innately" understands the Hispanic population and has "a really phenomenal footprint" in Latin America, a region she said is "hugely important"
