MSC Cruises appoints We Are Social for global social media drive

Travel company MSC Cruises has called in We Are Social to develop its global social media strategy.

The company, which is a market leading cruise operator in the Mediterranean, South Africa and Brazil, will work with the agency to strengthen its content strategy.

We Are Social Italy will lead an international team across eight offices, with content to be tailored to the needs of potential travellers in different countries.

The agency will report to MSC Cruises chief marketing officer Luca Catzola, who said the company was ramping up its social media work as part of a drive to engage online communities.

The company is planning to roll out new content across all of its platforms, which include Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
