Halfords appoints ZPR to handle consumer PR

Motoring and cycling retailer Halfords has appointed ZPR as its retained consumer PR agency after a pitch.

ZPR’s brief is to support the cycling, leisure and motoring divisions on focused content-driven campaigns to position Halfords as the authority in its field and to bring a more contemporary feel to its external media, social and blogging relations.
David Durie, marketing director at Halfords, said: "ZPR’s superb retail knowledge, its excellent media relations contacts and its contemporary, modern approach is very appealing for how we are positioning Halfords going forward."
