LGA hires Freuds' Hannah Berry for campaigning role

The Local Government Association (LGA) has brought in Hannah Berry from Freuds as campaigns and marketing manager.

LGA head of corporate comms David Holdstock said that the new post was created in the wake of feedback from members asking for more focus on campaigning.

The new position also follows on from a restructure last year, which saw the digital team integrated with the marketing and campaign team, with the loss of five jobs.

Berry handled public sector work at Freuds as a senior account director, including the Department of Health brief, which was previously estimated to be worth around £1m.
