The company, which works with 16,000 customers in more the 120 countries, is enjoying rapid growth on the continent.

Bite will take the lead on providing content creation and media outreach services across Europe, as well as localising corporate press announcements and campaigns across EMEA countries.

A spokesman for incumbent Waggener Edstrom said it had declined to repitch for the account.

News of the hire comes shortly after a spending spree by Palo Alto by cyber security firms Morta Security and Cyvera, the latter costing a reported $200m.

In February, it reported second quarter revenue growth of 46 per cent year-on-year to $141.1m.

Confirming the hire, Bite deputy UK MD Rachel Gilley called the company "one of the fastest growing cyber security players on the global stage", stating it had "a very clear vision for the future".
