NASHVILLE, TN: B-to-b healthcare company Valence Health has chosen ReviveHealth as its communications and PR strategy partner.
Valence CMO Kevin Weinstein said the company is working with Revive on an exclusive basis. It is not referring to the firm as its "AOR" because that has "a different connotation," he said, adding that he expects the relationship to be long-term and "highly beneficial."
The healthcare specialty firm began working for Valence about two months ago; there was no RFP process, said Kriste Goad, Revive SVP and CMO. Rather, Valence reached out to and chose Revive directly, she added. The agency did not disclose the financial terms of the contract.
"We’ve gotten off to a really great start, and the foundational elements are in place to really start delivering on the strategy," Goad said.
The combination of staffers at Revive who have experience on the agency side and those who have worked on the client end was attractive to Valence, Weinstein said, because it "provides for a depth of understanding for the market that you don’t always see."
Last year, Valence added 15 clients and hired more than 100 employees while revenue grew by 35%, it said in a statement. The company helps healthcare providers manage patient populations and take financial responsibility for the quality of care they provide. It works with clients ranging from small physician groups to large health systems.
