NEW YORK: Global Strategy Group has hired Marc Litvinoff as managing partner, a new role at the firm.
He will oversee all day-to-day operations at Global Strategy Group, including the firm's business strategy, as well as technology, talent, and finance. Litvinoff most recently served as vice chairman and CEO of ORC International, a market research firm.
During his time at ORC International, Litvinoff led a management buyout of the company from Infogroup. Previously, he served as CEO of Guideline, a business and marketing research company, where he led its sale. He has also held C-level positions at RHK and Knowledge Networks and worked at Gartner, where he held positions including SVP of its technology provider group and group VP and worldwide director for Dataquest Research Operations.
While Litvinoff will report to Global Strategy Group CEO and founding partner Jon Silvan, he noted that the firm operates on a “flat” level, which will allow him to communicate his vision to other members of its leadership
“I've been CEO of several companies, and I was actually at the point in my career where I really wasn't looking for something full-time,” said Litvinoff, adding that he has known Global Strategy Group's founding partners for many years. He has served as an adviser to the firm since 2008.
Litvinoff said the public affairs world is like politics in that it offers opportunities to work hard to be successful.
“Every opportunity is an opportunity to win. How do you lead the way for your clients to get them to their ultimate goal?” he asked.
