WASHINGTON: Chlopak Leonard Schechter & Associates rebranded as CLS Strategies on Wednesday.
CLS engaged branding agency Siegel + Gale, public opinion research firm Public Opinion Strategies, and research and strategy shop Mellman Group during the process.
The firms conducted interviews with CLS staff, current and former clients, and Washington lawyers and lobbyists who frequently recommend firms for public affairs work.
Last year, CLS managed the media strategy for the plaintiffs' counsel for retired NFL players suing the league over concussion-related injuries. A $765 million settlement was announced last August.
It also advised the government of Kenya in the run-up to the country's March 2013 elections.
