NEW YORK: Sprinklr said Wednesday morning that it has acquired Austin, TX-based Dachis Group.
The firms said that the combination of Sprinklr's SaaS social media management platform with Dachis' real-time brand analytics service will help clients quickly and efficiently gather brand insights and take action.
“Most people think of Dachis Group as social analytics but the company has built a brand analytics infrastructure,” said Sprinklr founder and CEO Ragy Thomas. “What's attractive for us is we can now take outside brand analytics and plug them into Sprinklr's existing technology. That's what makes it really valuable for clients and partners.”
Dachis' technology will be fully integrated into Sprinklr's platform in 90 days.
“We've released at least one product every two weeks for the last four years, so we have a long record of innovating quickly,” Thomas added. “We're planning on flying development teams to a central location to get the product integrated.”
The companies did not disclose financial terms.
Thomas will remain CEO of the combined company, which will be headquartered in New York with offices in London, Delhi, Mumbai, and Austin. Dachis founder and CEO Jeff Dachis will serve as chief evangelist and chief adviser.
The deal brings Sprinklr's total staff to 300. Thomas said the company will retain nearly all Dachis employees and is still looking to hire others. The reporting structure of the companies will be integrated.
