NEW YORK: The US Fund for UNICEF has appointed Jose Carbonell as SVP of marketing and communications.
He will lead a team of 34 staffers across six departments with oversight for the group's brand, marketing, and communications strategies. Carbonell will also focus on growing the US Fund for UNICEF's brand through digital and social media, the group said in a statement.
Previously, he was VP of marketing and strategic planning at Nickelodeon, where he led cause marketing efforts with the Children's Defense Fund, the PTA, and US Gymnastics. Carbonell has also held roles at Kraft Foods, Welch's, Hartz Mountain, and Reckitt Benckiser.
