Harrison passes away at 77

SAN FRANCISCO: Claire Harrison, a prominent Bay Area PR and advertising executive during the 1970s and '80s, died last month after a battle with cancer. She was 77.

SAN FRANCISCO: Claire Harrison, a prominent Bay Area PR and advertising executive during the 1970s and ‘80s, died last month after a battle with cancer. She was 77.

Harrison was known for her advertising and PR work across the real estate, entertainment, hospitality, food, and professional services sectors as president of CHA/Claire Harrison Associates. Her clients included The Gap, KQED, Paramount Pictures, San Francisco State University, and Stag's Leap Wine Cellars.

A private memorial service for family and close friends will be held on January 20 in San Francisco.
