MONTPELIER, VT: The Green Mountain Care Board (GMCB) has issued an RFP seeking a firm to highlight health policies being implemented across the state of Vermont.

The Vermont legislature created the board last year to oversee the design of Green Mountain Care, a healthcare system for state residents.

The winning agency will be charged with developing a cohesive communications strategy for GMCB initiatives, with an emphasis on particular core audiences. The firm's work will use direct consumer contact, free media, and social media. It will also be tasked with developing standard templates for GMCB communications, including news releases, e-blasts, and reports.

Bids are due to the state on February 2, and a winner will be announced by February 9, according to the RFP. A budget has not yet been established for the project, according to a state press officer.
