Communications and political strategist Bettina Inclan has been hired by Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus to mobilize Latino voters.

"The President sold the Hispanic community a bill of goods," Priebus said. "He had Harry Reid and a super majority and he didn't get anything done."

Inclan touted the RNC Latinos new twitter handle, @RNCLATINOSa new bilingual Tumblr blog, and a mobile text messaging campaign called 'Unete' or 'Unite.'

“I've been involved in this issue for 10 years from Florida to California,” Inclan said. “We want to do things even better.”

That message "is about the economy and jobs," Priebus said while introducing Inclan as the leader of a more "aggressive approach" to reach Latinos.

GOP front-runner Mitt Romney has faced criticism from some Latinos over his promise to veto the so-called Dream Act. The bill allows undocumented immigrant students who have been living in the US since they were young to serve in the military or attend college. Also on Wednesday, Romney unveiled his first Spanish-language TV ad in Florida.
