HOUSTON: Fashion accessory boutique Charming Charlie has selected Alison Brod PR as its first AOR after an RFP process.
The company chose Alison Brod because of its “experience in fashion, beauty, and accessories” and its ability to “make a brand relevant from a fashion perspective,” said Suchit Majmudar, VP of brand development and strategy at Charming Charlie.
He added that Alison Brod will focus on media outreach for the brand, which expects growth this year. It expanded from 36 stores in the US in 2009 to 178 last year.
“They'll be working on increasing our brand awareness through PR, which would translate to improved brand recognition across the country as we open up more stores,” Mujmudar explained.
The firm will work on an ambassador program for Charming Charlie later this year, partnering with “key influencers,” such as bloggers, fashion photographers, actors, and media outlets, said Mujmudar.
Alison Brod will also create strategic alliances for the company with celebrities and fashion brands.
